ACEF at The Animal Rights National Conference
We are excited to announce that this year we will be an official sponsor at the Animal Rights National Conference. It takes place at the Hilton Mark Center just outside Washington DC. The Animal Rights National Conference is the U.S. animal rights movement's annual national conference. It is also the world's largest and longest-running animal rights gathering, hailing back to 1981. It is the only conference open to all points of view on achieving animal liberation. This will be our LARGEST PROTEST EVER against the horrific event known as "Kaporos," a bloody animal slaughter which takes place every year, where 50,000 chickens' throats are slit on public streets in the name of religion. This event violates 15 laws, and a lawsuit was commenced last year demanding the NYPD and City of NY enforce the law. The suit was dismissed, and an appeal is currently pending.
